About St. James'

St. James' Church was established in 1868 at its current site on Abbott Avenue in Ridgefield. The sanctuary was rebuilt after a fire in 1907, and the church campus has been expanded and renovated numerous times since then to serve a growing congregation and support vital ministries such as our Sunday school program and the St. James' Nursery School. For over 150 years, St. James' has been a place of fellowship and belonging, and a witness to the bonds of love established in the Body of Christ

Today we are a diverse church body, with members of all ages and coming from all over southern Bergen County and beyond. We're well known for offering a warm welcome, and we have longstanding emphasis on Christian formation for all ages.
